Joshua Tree Family Photographer: Marisa McDonald Photography
If you know a family photographer, you know that they are b-u-s-y right now! Fall is everyone’s favorite time to get pictures…the weather is usually great (although some of my clients will tell you it has been unseasonably warm!) and its the perfect time to update pictures to send out to friends and family over the holidays. At this point I have lost track of numbers but let’s just say, I have had A LOT of sessions lately and this desert spot in the Village of Joshua Tree has become like my second home!
Although the location is often the same, each session brings its own energy, its own excitement, and its own challenges. This session was particularly special because I’ve known this sweet family for several years now ever since we started out as newbie homeschoolers together! Bonus: These siblings are some of the sweetest I’ve ever met. They had so much love and laughter and not an ounce of fighting during the whole session!
So remember how I mentioned how busy family photographers are right now? Confession time…..I respond really well to “busy” and deadlines and all of that (recovering lawyer). That means I’m great at churning out galleries and getting pictures to clients! I also happen to be good at keeping up with Facebook (me and Facebook generally understand each other). I don’t do as well with other day to day stuff like bookeeping (yuk!), posting on Instagram (I think I was born in the wrong decade), and my blog (yeah, this thing right here). Maybe I’ll back track to catch up; maybe I won’t. But here is me doing some day-to-day for this moment. I hope you enjoy this lovely session! I know I did!
