If you’ve ever visited Twentynine Palms you might not immediately think of it as the ideal location for family photography. I get it. It can look pretty harsh at first sight. Barren, hot, dry, BROWN. Yeah I get it. I kind of love the simplicity of it all for family portraits though. The simple, neutral background brings all the attention to the beauty of the family and that’s really what its all about, right?
This family session is the perfect example of the beauty of the family shining in the desert! I love their joy and connection and playfulness! Its not always easy to drag your family out into the desert but its always worth it! I speak from experience. I just dragged my crew (including dog) out into the desert TONIGHT! Yikes!
