Marisa McDonald Photography: Twentynine Palms, Joshua Tree, Yucca Valley, Palm Springs Family Photographer
Another fun and adventurous session with Marisa McDonald Photography in the books! If you know this family, you know a rock climbing session was absolutely essential! They are relatively new to our desert and needed to capture the essence of this unique place in their yearly family portraits. But they also happen to be an all around strong, energetic, and adventurous family…perfect for this kind of session!
Upon arriving to my special spot the kids immediately started scaling the rocks to reach the top. When I say scaling, I don’t mean carefully and slowly climbing with hands and feet, searching for footholds and handholds. No I mean they BOUNDED up these rocks like nobody’s business! As usual I got them squished together and laughing at goofy things and then we moved on for a quick stop by the Joshua Tree and finally sunset at the golf course for a little family scrimmage! I absolutely loved getting to know this family. They have such a wonderful energy! I hope you enjoy their session as much as I did!
I’ve been working hard on decreasing my turnaround time because I know how exciting it is to get your pictures! I’m proud to say I got a preview of this session out within two days, final images and customized app out in 5 days, and now have it blogged 8 days after the session! Not only does this feel good to my clients, it also keeps me excited and inspired from session to session knowing that I can focus all of my creative energy on each session as it comes!
Looking forward to a busy and beautiful Fall season!
