Fun Family Photography Session

in Laguna Beach

This Fun Family Photography session took place on the day before Christmas Eve on Laguna Beach behind the Montage (definitely a front runner for most beautiful spots in Southern California). To my horror, we woke up that morning to a downpour but my client assured me they were a laid back family and they would be totally fine to proceed with the session rain or shine! This was going to be their only day all together and they just really wanted photos together as a family. You might think I was dreading shooting in the rain but really I was more excited than ever. Any family that is willing to have portraits in the rain knows how to have fun and doesn’t take themselves too seriously. This is a recipe for an amazing session!

Aside from being all together, there was another important reason for this photo session… Mom & Dad’s 30-year-anniversary!! In fact, Mom & Dad had taken a photo at this exact spot 30 years ago so we definitely had to re-create it.
