Twentynine Palms Family Photography with Marisa McDonald Photography
Are you guys ready for some GORGEOUS-NESS in Twentynine Palms on the Marisa McDonald Photography blog today?! Well stand by! Every once in a while I have a session that changes everything and this was one of them. I am always learning, growing, striving, pushing forward. Towards that goal I actually took a tiny break this summer…not a total break but I intentionally slowed down on family sessions to give myself a chance to regroup. I used the opportunity to continue my photography education with some of the top photographers in the world. I also did a lot of personal work and just re-energized.
As I was getting ready for this session, I actually had some nervousness! I had done a few sessions recently but I think it had been at least a month if not more since my last full family session. That wasn’t the only thing causing my nervousness…this family has FOUR boys and the oldest one is four years old! Usually I am very laid back and don’t worry too much about whether kids will cooperate because we always get the shots we need no matter what! But with FOUR kids…well I admit I was nervous!
Well, let me tell you, I had NOTHING to worry about! I showed up with my box of goodies and showed them all the fun stuff I had for them and we were off! We piled in, snuggled up, squeezed in tight, climbed in trees, ran, jumped, and ended with a blanket ride through some rare grass in Twentynine Palms! Many of my clients love desert pictures (and I do too!) but I have to say there is something so nice about being on the golf course. Kids can run (without shoes), roll in the grass, sit without a blanket…its just a great location for a session full of FUN!
Scroll through and enjoy this beautiful family so full of love! I promise you won’t be sorry you did!
