Joshua Tree Photography: Multi-Generational Family Photography Session with Marisa McDonald Photography

I love this family session and can’t get enough of Joshua Tree photography! As if the desert wasn’t already perfect enough, he evening of their session was perfectly overcast giving us the most perfectly even light for a nice long session (if you listen closely, you will hear desert photographers rejoice on cloudy evenings in the desert!). ¬†That extended shooting time really came in handy because the WHOLE family was on site for this session! I absolutely love when families include grandparents (and in this case Uncle too!) in their session. There is just something so special about multi-generational portraits. I hope this little guy will be able to look back on these in many, many years and know how much he is loved!

I am closing out this post in the last hour of Thanksgiving Day so let me take this opportunity to say “thank you.” I am thankful for so much, including my family and God’s love and grace. I am also thankful for all of you…for my clients and for those of you who encourage me on my photography journey, both in person and on social media. I wish you all a Happy Thanksgiving and a Holiday season filled with beautiful moments to treasure for a lifetime. ¬†parent-child picture ideasPin SITE IMAGE________candid toddler picture ideasPin SITE IMAGE________engagement session posing ideasPin SITE IMAGE________Fun family photography in Joshua Tree CaliforniaPin SITE IMAGE________Ideas for having fun with toddlers on a photography sessionPin SITE IMAGE________Desert photography in joshua treePin SITE IMAGE________Multi-generational photography ideasPin SITE IMAGE________Family Photography with a toddler.
